Actibly Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Actibly (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a private activity planning app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using Actibly, you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Data

• First name, last name, email address (required)
• Gender, phone number, date of birth (optional)
• Profile photos (optional)

Authentication & Security

• Email/password via Firebase Authentication

User-Generated Content

• Events (titles, descriptions, dates, locations, images)
• RSVPs and shared item lists
• Friend connections and group memberships

Device & Technical Data

• APNs/FCM device tokens for push notifications
• IP address, device model, OS version (collected by Firebase)
• Event location entries (user provided through MapKit search)

Offline Data Storage

We cache user, event, and RSVP data locally for offline use. Cached data syncs with Firebase when you reconnect.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide core app features (event planning, RSVPs, shared lists)
• Send notifications about events, friends, and reminders
• Sync data between your devices and our servers
• Maintain account security and prevent abuse
• Improve app performance and user experience
• Optional analytics to understand usage (Firebase Analytics is present but currently disabled)

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your data. We share only with:

• Firebase / Google Cloud: Hosting, authentication, messaging, storage
• Apple Push Notification Service (APNs): Deliver iOS notifications
• Legal authorities if required by law

5. Data Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion by emailing support@actibly.app. If you delete your account, we remove associated data from Firebase and local caches. Some backups/logs may persist for a limited time per provider defaults.

6. Your Choices

• Access, update, or delete profile data in-app or by contacting us.
• Control notifications via device settings or in-app toggles.
• Request data export/deletion at support@actibly.app.

7. Children

Actibly is not intended for users under 13. If we learn we’ve collected information from a child under 13, we delete it promptly.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and Firebase security controls. No method is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States or regions where Firebase operates. By using Actibly, you consent to these transfers.

10. Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy. We’ll update the "Last Updated" date and notify you in-app or via email.
